A simple habit to improve your mind control

The philosophy that “you are what you eat” also applies to the mind.

We’re affected by what we “feed” into our brains.

One thing we can do is learn something new every day. This keeps our mind active and focused. It also keeps us from thinking about things that are not useful to us.

Mars Sector 6 said in his transmission, “Become More Useful Humans“:

“Remember, terrestrials, you control your brain, which in turn controls your body machine. Treat this correctly. Train it. Feed into it, constantly, new information of the right kind and you will discover that it will operate much more effectively than it does now.”

Master of Yoga, Dr. George King, said:

“There should not, never, be a day passed but what you learn something new. Never a day. Never miss any opportunity to learn something new. Especially if it’s worth learning. If it isn’t, then don’t bother to learn it. Remember, this glass is three-quarters filled. If I was to try to fill that with the nectar of God himself I could only put a quarter in there because the rest is orange juice.

Remember that. Remember that. Don’t let your mind be cluttered up with things which are no use to your progression. Learn anything which might be of help no matter what it is, whether it’s how to run an off-set machine, how to bandage your finger, how to put a splint on, how to give healing, how to pray, how to do a drawing, how to write a poem, how to paint a picture. Learn these things but keep the mind, or the brain, as uncluttered as possible.”

Filling our minds with the right information will help us keep our vibrations high. We will feel more productive and better about ourselves.

***

I used to work in project management. “Continuous improvement” was talked about every day.

You would think that it would be easy to carry this frame of mind over to my personal life, but I have not found that to be the case.

I’m sometimes tired at the end of the day and not in the frame of mind to learn something new. I often prefer to relax, maybe watch TV or scroll through social media.

There’s nothing wrong with that, but the mind is a muscle and the more you exercise it, the stronger it becomes.

I find that if I am in the habit of keeping my mind active and learning, it is easier to do.

Whereas when I am in the habit of “vegging out” and looking at my phone, it’s very difficult to focus my mind on learning something.

I’m still working through this with myself. But realizing shortcomings is the first step to overcoming them.

Something you can try

They say that a habit can be formed in 3 weeks. For the next 3 weeks, try to train yourself to learn something new each day. Please share with me how you find it and what you learn about yourself in the process.
