How to raise global consciousness

We are all connected. We are all one. Because of that, when we do something to help the world, we are, in a way, also helping ourselves.

Dr. George King said in a lecture on Enlightenment:

“Right throughout your life this you can do, send out a beam of transmutating energy to all destructive things. And you will find you do it automatically. And the more energy you send out the more energy you will get. The more energy you will get, the more you are capable of sending out, and so on, and you’ll break a circle. You’ll break out of a negative circle into a positive circle and you’ll be giving some most wonderful service.”

So if you send out prayer energy to another person, or a situation, you are helping uplift that person or situation. But you also get some energy coming back to you.

This is how the Law of Karma works. What you send out, you get back. Or as Jesus said, “As you sow, so shall you reap.”

This is one of the reasons why when we send out prayer energy to a particular destination, and we put our hearts into the prayer, we feel so good afterwards.

This doesn’t just work with prayer though. The more you keep your mind elevated, the more you listen to your higher self, the more spiritual works you study, the more you will be uplifted and the more you will uplift the whole that little bit.

The first time I ever came to The Aetherius Society was for a Power Circle that was dedicated to help in the aftermath of the Fukushima nuclear accident.

There were a lot of people there and I sat outside the main circle in a second, outer circle. I didn’t know any of the prayers or what the Twelve Blessings even were, but I raised my hands like everyone else.

After a short period, I felt like there was this pressure pushing back against my hands. If I moved my hands in slightly it was as though I was pushing on a bubble, there was resistance.

I was so surprised – I wasn’t even saying the words. But I did really want to help.

Because I had this experience, I felt connected with the brave people in Fukushima who were trying to minimize the damage. I felt a lot of compassion and love for what they were trying to do.

Something you can try

Here are a couple of experiments you can try to feel the energy that is used in prayer:

Power of prayer: An experiment (Part I)
Power of prayer: An experiment (Part II)

Have you ever had an experience that helped you understand the oneness of all things?
